The Seven Tuns Action Group is committed to restoring our beloved village pub, The Seven Tuns, to its rightful place as the heart of Chedworth. Despite no progress to reopen being made by the current owners, The Wellington Pub Company, we are determined to make our community’s voice heard.
To this end, we are preparing to launch a major publicity campaign in early 2025. This initiative aims to demonstrate the overwhelming local support for action to breathe new life into The Seven Tuns. It will be a call to the owners to recognize the village’s commitment to seeing the pub reopen and thrive.
Although the Action Group has not yet contacted The Wellington Pub Company or its agents directly, several potential leaseholders have approached them, only to be turned away and others have almost reached agreement only to find that such progress leads nowhere. This reinforces the need for a united community effort to advocate for our shared goal.
